New Warranty Coverage for Modern Sena Systems

Sena has officially announced a new Limited Lifetime Warranty program covering several of its latest motorcycle communication devices. This initiative is designed to provide long-term support for users who have recently purchased or are planning to invest in new gear from the brand. The policy is global, ensuring that customers worldwide can benefit, provided they own an eligible model.

Eligible Products

At present, the warranty specifically covers newer items within the company's motorcycling communications lineup. As of July 31, 2026, the following models are included:

  • 60X
  • 60S Evo
  • SPIDER X Slim
  • VORTEX

It remains to be seen whether future product releases will be incorporated into this program, but these four units are the current beneficiaries of the policy.

Important Terms and Limitations

As with any such program, there are specific conditions attached to this warranty. For instance, the internal battery is subject to its own unique terms: the company guarantees that it will retain at least 50 percent of its original charging capacity for five years from the start of the warranty period. Furthermore, the coverage does not extend to clamp kits or additional accessories.

There is also a sunset clause regarding discontinued items. According to the policy, the Limited Lifetime Warranty for a specific product will expire five years after that product is officially discontinued by the manufacturer.

Exclusive Benefits for European Riders

While the core warranty is global, riders located in Europe are granted additional privileges. When an issue arises with an eligible device, European customers can contact Sena Europe directly to arrange for an advance replacement. This means a new unit is shipped to the rider before they are required to send back the faulty hardware.

Additionally, the process is streamlined for the EU market through prepaid return shipping. Customers will receive a prepaid return label via email, allowing them to return their defective equipment at no postal cost.
