A Gathering of Automotive Excellence

The global Porsche enthusiast community has expanded significantly over the past decade. As appreciation for the brand’s engineering prowess has grown, so too has the market for bespoke, high-performance, and custom-commissioned builds. This surge in interest is perfectly highlighted by the upcoming Broad Arrow auction at The Quail in California this August, which features a remarkable lineup of rare Porsche, RUF, and Singer vehicles.


The RUF Collection

The auction includes several notable RUF-tuned machines, showcasing the tuner's dedication to performance and craftsmanship:

  • 2024 RUF SCR 'Mary Stuart': Estimated at $2.5–$2.8 million, this is one of only six examples globally. Featuring a 4.0-liter flat-six and finished in Paint-To-Sample Ultra Violet, it pays homage to the 1973 Carrera RSR race cars.
  • 1990 RUF BTR III Cabriolet: Expected to fetch between $800,000 and $950,000, this rare gem marks the conclusion of the BTR III era, boasting a 408-horsepower 3.4-liter turbo engine and a six-speed transmission.
  • 1994 RUF RCT EVO Speedster & 1995 RUF RCT EVO: These models represent the pinnacle of 964-generation performance, with estimates ranging from $800,000 to $1.1 million.
  • 2013 RUF Rt35: One of just 35 units produced, this twin-turbocharged powerhouse offers 630 horsepower and is expected to reach $600,000–$700,000.

Singer Reimagined Commissions

The event will also spotlight three distinct "reimagined" 911s by Singer, each offering a unique take on the classic sports car:

  • 'Aurum Verde Commission': As one of Singer's first turbocharged projects, this 503-hp machine is estimated at $1.5–$1.8 million. It holds a storied history, having been tested at the Nürburgring and featured in various top-tier automotive media.
  • 'Los Angeles Commission': A fully bespoke Classic Study powered by an Ed Pink Racing 4.0-liter flat-six, estimated at $1.1–$1.3 million.
  • 'Coconut Grove Commission': A rare Targa configuration featuring a "Motorsports" 4.0-liter engine and a striking Ruby Targa top, also valued between $1.1 million and $1.3 million.

Rare Porsche Icons

Beyond the tuner specials, the auction features factory legends, including a 1988 Porsche 959 Komfort—one of only 266 made—carrying an estimate of $2.65–$2.95 million. Collectors will also have the chance to bid on a 1995 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet from the Todd Blue Collection, and a pristine 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder in Paint-To-Sample Grey Black, which is expected to command up to $3.75 million.

The auction is scheduled to take place during The Quail event on August 13 and 14.
