Cupra has unveiled a significant update for its Born electric hatchback. The mid-cycle refresh brings a sharper exterior design aligned with the brand's latest models, a more refined interior with improved materials, and a welcome return to physical buttons for the steering wheel controls.

Under the skin, efficiency improvements extend the driving range. The base model with a 58 kWh battery now offers an estimated 278 miles, while the long-range version with a 79 kWh pack can travel approximately 370 miles. Charging speeds have also increased across the lineup.

The interior gains a larger digital instrument cluster and enhanced perceived quality. A new digital key function allows smartphone access. The performance-oriented Born VZ variant continues with 322 horsepower.

This update solidifies the Born's position in Cupra's electric portfolio as the brand prepares for future EVs like the upcoming affordable Raval city car.
