A New Chapter for Bizzarrini

Since its brand revival in 2020, Bizzarrini has successfully delivered at least 24 units of its 5300 GT Corsa model across Europe. Building on this momentum, the company has officially unveiled its newest creation: the Bizzarrini 5300 Aperta Lusso. The manufacturer describes the vehicle as a unique blend, offering “Technology and Luxury in Equal Measure.”

Performance and Engineering

At the heart of the Aperta Lusso lies a powerful 5.3-liter front-mid V8 engine. This is the same reliable small-block architecture that company founder Giotto Bizzarrini originally championed in the 1960s. To achieve superior handling, the engine is mounted entirely behind the front axle's centerline, ensuring optimized weight distribution. The powerplant is capable of generating well over 400 horsepower.

The driving experience is defined by a mechanical connection to the road, featuring a Tremec TKX five-speed manual transmission paired with a limited-slip differential. According to performance estimates, the Aperta Lusso is capable of reaching top speeds exceeding 175 mph.

Market Positioning

While the company has remained quiet regarding the specific MSRP for the new Aperta Lusso, expectations are high. For context, previous iterations such as the 5300 GT Corsa carried a price tag of approximately $2.4 million, suggesting the new model will target a similarly exclusive segment of the automotive market.
