Yamaha's WaveRunner division has unveiled the CrossWave, a groundbreaking personal watercraft engineered from the ground up as a dedicated fishing vessel. Unlike standard PWCs with added accessories, the CrossWave is built on a proprietary platform with a 200 hp jet drive, offering a stable, dry ride and a draft of only about 6 inches for accessing shallow waters.

The design features a 12-foot, 11-inch walkaround deck with 360-degree mobility, ample storage, and a robust T-track system for customizing with rod holders and other gear. It can comfortably carry two anglers and includes advanced helm electronics with dual 7-inch touchscreens, a fish finder, and a premium audio system.

With a top speed of 55 mph, a range over 100 miles, and no underwater running gear to harm sensitive habitats, the CrossWave creates a new category—a versatile, trailerable fishing machine priced around $30,000.
