Touratech has officially introduced the Aventuro Gravel Carbon, a premium helmet designed to meet the rigorous demands of long-distance adventure riding. By focusing on a balance of weight, strength, and functionality, the company aims to provide a versatile solution for riders navigating everything from paved roads to technical gravel trails.


Lightweight Carbon Construction

At the core of the helmet is the proprietary X-PRO Carbon technology. This composite material utilizes a fiber content exceeding 60 percent, resulting in a robust structure that remains exceptionally light. Weighing in at approximately 1,500 grams for a size Large (including the peak and visor), the helmet is designed to reduce neck fatigue during extended periods in the saddle.

The company provides three distinct shell sizes, ensuring that the EPS liner is perfectly matched to the user's head size. Furthermore, the Aventuro Gravel Carbon meets both European ECE 22.06 standards and the rigorous US DOT safety requirements.


Advanced Comfort and Stability

A standout feature of the new helmet is the Anti-Vibration EPS System. By integrating a flexible rubber strip between the EPS layers, the design effectively mitigates vibrations caused by air turbulence. This innovation contributes to a quieter ride and helps minimize strain on the rider's neck muscles.

For long-distance comfort, the interior features an X-mart Dry fabric lining paired with 3D mesh material to optimize airflow and sweat management. The internal padding is fully removable and washable, and the chin area is designed to accommodate hydration systems, which is especially useful during challenging off-road excursions.


Versatility and Configuration

Touratech has engineered the helmet to be highly adaptable, allowing for tool-free configuration changes. Riders can quickly transition between three modes:

  • Adventure mode: Featuring both the visor and shield.
  • Road mode: Utilizing the visor without the shield for better aerodynamics.
  • Motocross mode: Using the shield without the visor, ideal for off-road conditions.

The extra-large eye port accommodates most motocross goggles, and an adjustable peak extension is included to provide enhanced glare protection when riding into the sun.


Emergency Readiness and Connectivity

Safety remains a priority with the inclusion of an Emergency Quick Release System, which allows first responders to remove the cheek pads and take off the helmet with minimal strain on the rider. The strap system utilizes the lightweight and strong Peraluman X-Lock, based on the double-D-ring principle, supplemented by a magnetic buckle.

Modern multimedia needs are also addressed through integrated mounting points for action cameras—including a versatile chin-mount option—and pre-installed interfaces for common communication systems.
